NexusMods.com is the largest video game modding site on the internet. The site is used by over 15 million users each month to find and download modifications for over 2,000 games, old and new. Our community of 38 million registered users is growing at a rapid pace, looked after by 2 in-house Community Managers and a team of volunteer moderators from all over the world to exacting standards.

At Nexus Mods I have brought in design thinking processes and implemented a design system in collaboration with our engineering team. I have grown the team to increase our quality and output, and also coaching them up in their roles. I am hands-on with design work but also involved in leadership discussions bringing decisions around UX of our users.

We have been utilising our very active Discord server to create private channels for some design focus groups to give us continual feedback on the current site and new features. We have split the groups into segments that reflect our main personas.

I oversee the website and its redesign (which can be seen on the next.nexusmods.com subdomain) but also our very popular mod manager called Vortex, which we are completely rebuilding from the group up.
